THE BIRTH OF A LEGENDARY MAISON

The name of the house is inspired by the creative heritage and history of Champagne and of Dom Pierre Pérignon , a young Benedictine monk who in 1668 was appointed cellar master of the Abbey of Hautvillers, overlooking the vineyards of the Champagne region .
His passion for winemaking excellence drove him to want to create the "best wine in the world" to serve his community and the glory of God.

This Brut Rosé Vintage Champagne, from the Dom Pérignon maison, is produced with Pinot Noir grapes from the Grands Crus of Aÿ and Bouzy and from the Premier Cru vineyards of Hautvillers, among the most prestigious in the Champagne region.

Dom Pérignon is only rare and vintage. Each bottle is an authentic act of creation, obtained from the best Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes of a single harvest, in percentages that vary from one year to the next.

THE ROSE SIDE OF DOM PERIGNON

The rosé version of Dom Pérignon is a champagne made from Pinot Noir vinified partly in white and partly in red and Chardonnay .
The grapes are harvested by hand, the first fermentation takes place in steel, while the second in the bottle.

TASTING NOTES

Elegant pink, fine and persistent perlage. The nose is refined, at the start fleeting aromas of rose, orange oil and saffron, slowly the bouquet amplifies and becomes warmer, dominated by red fruits, raspberry and cherry, and by dark notes of cassis and fig. Sweetness triumphs at the end, with notes of gingerbread and liquorice.
